Tommy Mesa returns to the Quad Cities to perform Andrea Casarrubios’s SEVEN for solo cello, a hauntingly beautiful tribute to the pandemic’s essential workers and those who lost their lives, followed by Jessie Montgomery’s Divided for cello and orchestra, which finds beauty amid conflict and chaos.
