DESCRIPTION:In the richly historic Benjamin Franklin Hall\, a program with newly commissioned solo cello works by Andrea Casarrubios\, Stephanie Ann Boyd\, and Carlos Simon.  In addition\, Tommy Mesa and Michelle Cann will perform works by Black and Latinx composers.  They will have recorded an album the previous week for PARMA Recordings which is fully funded by the Sphinx Organization in a “Call for Scores” format which will allow for the duo and the world to uncover important music by living Black and Latinx composers. \nProgram TBD
